What better way to celebrate National Dog Day than with some very special four-legged visitors! 🐶

We were thrilled to welcome the wonderful dogs from Fairytales Adoption to spend some time with our residents. Their wagging tails, sweet kisses, and loving personalities brought so many smiles and created some truly special moments. 🥰

This summer we set a big goal: collect at least 200 items for the James B. Allen Generation Center to support our local community. Thanks to the generosity and love from everyone involved, we didn't just meet our goal, we more than doubled it!

Together, we gathered and donated over 400 items!

Some moments remind us what love, commitment, and cherished memories truly look like. ❤️✈️Here at Boonesboro Trail, we had the honor of celebrating an incredible LIVE-A-DREAM with Mr. and Mrs. Clark, who have shared 66 years of marriage together. As licensed pilots, flying has always been a special part of their story, so we surprised them with a flight to relive the joy and freedom they experienced together in the skies.Watching them hold hands as they soared above the breathtaking views of Mt. Sterling was a moment none of us will ever forget. Their smiles, their quiet connection, and the love they've carried through more than six decades were a beautiful reminder that some dreams never grow old—and neither does true love.A huge thank you to our pilot, Mr. Jermaine Bibb, for making this unforgettable experience possible. We are also incredibly grateful to Jan Puetthoff for connecting us with Jermaine, and to Alvin Fox for introducing us to Jan. It truly took a community of caring people to make this lifelong dream come true.To everyone who played a part in making this special day possible—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We recently had the honor of celebrating a true community legend, Mr. Cowen, for his 101st birthday!

Our campus was filled with food, cocktails, a fantastic band and a room full of love from the endless circle of friends and community members who came out to toast him!

For decades, Mr. Cowen touched so many lives as the band director at GRC. They say that music keeps us young, even so that he is STILL giving guitar lessons today!

Mr. Cowen, thank you for your vibrant spirit, your lifelong dedication to this community, and for showing us all how to live life to the fullest!
