We witnessed two incredible examples of community support at our shop last week, and they served as a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do. Earlier in the day, our counter was completely full with only a few scattered seats remaining when a grandmother walked in with her son and two grandchildren. It looked like they would have to sit apart, but without a second thought, the strangers at the bar completely reshuffled their seats so the family could sit together. It was a wonderful, spontaneous act of kindness. Later that afternoon, Andy, one of our favorite regulars and Lisa's dad, was flagged down by someone telling him he had a flat as he was leaving. Before he could even look for tools, a complete stranger driving by stopped to help, changing the tire and getting him safely back on the road without a moment's hesitation. Kindness costs absolutely nothing, yet its impact is invaluable. You never truly know what challenges someone else might be facing. Let's continue to support and look out for one another today and every day; be kind.💞
