We’re excited to announce that Avery Cares has officially been approved by the Georgia Department of Community Health to expand our service area by 10 additional counties! 🎉

That means Avery Cares can now bring compassionate, dependable care to families across 20 Georgia counties from children with complex medical needs to seniors who deserve to remain safe and supported at home.

📍 Newly added: DeKalb, Clayton, Rockdale, Henry, Paulding, Douglas, Coweta, Madison, Habersham & Oglethorpe.

This growth means more than a bigger service area to us.

It means more families we can support. More communities we can serve. And more lives we can nurture at home and beyond. 💚

📚 Hello, August! Welcome Back to School! 🍎✏️

A new school year brings fresh opportunities, new friendships, and exciting possibilities. As families prepare for the first day of school, Avery Cares is proud to support our community by helping ensure that every child has the opportunity to start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Through the Avery Cares Back-to-School Program, we will provide school supply assistance to 20 local families through Walmart, Target, Staples, or Amazon gift cards.

Priority consideration will be given to:
💙 Single-parent households
💙 Families raising children with disabilities or complex medical needs
💙 Families experiencing financial hardship

If your family could benefit from this program, or you know a family that could benefit, please repost and share this with them.

Together, we can help every child walk into the classroom with confidence because every child deserves a strong start.

We are honored to have hosted this past month’s In-Service with the outstanding case management team at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).

As an approved Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) provider, opportunities like these strengthen the partnerships that help ensure children with complex medical needs experience a safe, seamless transition from hospital to home.

We appreciate the opportunity to share how collaboration between hospitals, case managers, physicians, and home health providers can improve continuity of care, support families, and help children receive the skilled care they need in the comfort of their homes.

A sincere thank you to the CHOA team for your warm welcome, thoughtful engagement, and unwavering commitment to Georgia’s children and families. We look forward to continuing to work alongside you in delivering compassionate, high-quality care beyond hospital walls.

Because exceptional care doesn’t end at discharge, it continues at home.💚
