Happy 80th Birthday Mom!!

I took Mom for tea last week, proper English tea, and we had the best time.

I hit the jackpot when it comes to parents. I'm probably the only GenX kid whose Mom was home at the end of the school day. She still didn't know where I was until the street lights came on but there was always food to eat, and care for all the shenanigans.

So grateful to have her close by and still going on adventures.

She's an incredible award winning artist too so check out her stuff!

Late in 2023 I fell back into gaming and jumped into the deep end of live tabletop. I started a twitch channel to talk to others and celebrate those who create, play, and heal. I host Creator Spotlight once a month, and began doing fundraising events throughout the year. I also have played in countless games on other channels and have even GMd live. This all led me to start writing again and since then Imaginif Media has produced 5 adventures and a coloring book, and I'll be bringing published adventures to a convention for the first time this month. All of this has been the light I need to keep going even though my day job is very demanding in both time and energy. Sometimes I wonder if it's too much. And then something happens to show you the path is the right one.

I'm going to be on a panel and in a live Dungeons and Dragons actual play at GenCon ( one of the largest gaming conventions ) and yesterday the CRiT Awards announced their nominees. One of them was a fundraising stream I did for Black History Month. The all black cast is and was phenomenal and the story was written by the GM Meadow which makes it even more wonderful. It is an absolute honor to have been recognized for something that was only done to help raise voices and money. Please consider voting for this cast.

One of the things I really enjoy doing is chatting with others in ways that helps shine a light on them and also let's us share real life in ways that might be helpful to others. Happy Solstice

This is such a beautiful time of year for slowing down, clearing and cleaning, adding spice and color, and for sitting with what you really want and need in your life. This shows you a few ways you could utilize this powerful energy. This can be done as quick or slow as you like. You could journal, then write your "truths" one at a time, all at once, or not at all.
