This is pics starting in 2018. Almost 10 years ago we opened the first caregiver storefront in windham and there weren't many before me. I was the fourth in the state besides the wellness connection and the other but they are classified as " dispensaries " at this point the other caregiver storefronts have closed but still helping people and honestly I've learned so much from all the OG'S in Maine! Honestly the last 15 years I've been a caregiver and wow!, I can't tell you how many people I've met over the years all over the country through me doing what I do ( if you know you know lol) cannabis truly changed my and saved my life but the experiences I've had have enriched my soul more then you'll ever know! The sense of community in cannabis patients, advocates, and enthusiast is like no other .

I am very grateful for all of it and would love to say thank you !

Ps. No I'm not dying or anything lol just feeling a tad nostalgic

The Department of Justice has announced the rescheduling of medical ma*****na and encouraged the Treasury Secretary to consider allowing state-licensed medical ma*****na businesses to amend prior-year tax returns affected by IRC §280E. Treasury has indicated that guidance is forthcoming, but it remains unclear when that guidance will arrive or which cannabis businesses and tax years it will cover. Meanwhile, statutes of limitation continue to expire.

Cannabis businesses have a limited window to claim refunds or reduce prior-year tax liabilities, and waiting for IRS guidance could cause operators to miss refund opportunities currently available.
