Say Hello to Our New PT, Dr. Katie!
We have some exciting news- we've welcomed a new physical therapist to the Refuge Physiotherapy team!
As our practice continues to grow, we're committed to maintaining the personalized, one-on-one care you've come to expect. Adding another doctor allows us to offer more appointment availability, reduce wait times, and continue serving our community with the same high-quality care.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Katie to Refuge! We are thrilled to have her on our team.
About Katie:
Katie grew up in Sterling, Colorado, before moving to Hays, Kansas, to attend Fort Hays State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then relocated to the East Coast to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Boston University.
Following graduation, Katie completed a year-long residency through the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and has received additional training in dry needling. She is committed to providing evidence-based care and continually expanding her knowledge and clinical skills.
Katie is passionate about helping people recover from injury through hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, and education that empowers patients to manage their health independently. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, with special interests in the hip, knee, spine, and TMJ.
Outside the clinic, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, paddleboarding, and crafting. Within the clinic, she hopes to create a space of trust where we can work together as a team to achieve your goals.
If you, a family member, or a friend have been thinking about starting physical therapy, now is a great time to schedule. We'd love the opportunity to help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love. Call or text the clinic at 970-567-9884 to schedule your appointment!
Thank you for trusting Refuge Physiotherapy with your care. We can't wait for you to meet Dr. Katie!
