This Labor Day, we celebrate the people whose hard work and dedication help strengthen our communities every day. In observance of the holiday, all Shepherd's Hope health centers will be closed today. Normal operations will resume tomorrow, September 8.

Thank you to the Coffee for a Cause Foundation for selecting Shepherd’s Hope as one of the organizations supported through Foxtail Coffee Co.’s Communities in Bloom campaign.

This generous support helps us continue providing compassionate, quality healthcare at no cost to uninsured and underserved individuals throughout Central Florida.

Every year, providing school physicals is a team effort, and we're thankful for the organizations that help us serve even more families. Dedicated school physical clinics began over 12 years ago with Nemours Children’s Health and Shepherd’s Hope and now has grown into a multi-partnership effort to care for Central Florida’s children!

Thank you to Nemours Children's Health, Who We Play For, AdventHealth, and the Florida Department of Health for partnering with us for School and Sports physicals. By working together, we were able to help more students receive the care they need before heading back to the classroom. Together, across eight community events, we provided 352 children with the physicals they needed to start the school year healthy and ready to learn. And patients received a backpack full of supplies and a bag of healthy foods and snacks, thanks to Nemours going .

That's the power of community partnerships, and we're grateful to each organization that shares our commitment to improving access to healthcare for Central Florida families. Here's to another season of helping students begin the school year healthy, prepared, and set up to thrive!

Please join us in congratulating Zamona Bacchus, West Orange Health Center Manager, on 15 years as a member of the Shepherd’s Hope staff!

While Zamona is celebrating 15 years as a staff member, her Shepherd’s Hope story actually began 18 years ago when she first stepped forward as a volunteer. Since then, she has devoted nearly two decades to serving our community, bringing unwavering compassion, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to our mission. Her contributions have touched countless patients, volunteers, and healthcare professionals at the West Orange Health Center.

Thank you, Zamona, for 18 years of dedication to Shepherd’s Hope and 15 years of incredible service as part of our staff. We are so grateful for all you do to bring hope and healing to our community!

A huge thank you to the McCoy Cares Foundation and Wawa for helping us care for the volunteers who make our mission possible. Thanks to a generous grant from The McCoy Cares Foundation, we're able to provide snacks for our incredible volunteers, while Wawa's donation of bottled water helps keep them refreshed throughout their shifts.

Every day, our volunteers give their time, talents, and compassion to provide free healthcare for uninsured neighbors across Central Florida. Thoughtful support like this ensures they have the fuel they need to continue serving our patients with excellence.

Every child deserves to start the school year healthy and ready to succeed.

That's why Shepherd’s Hope, in partnership with Nemours Children’s Health and Who We Play For, is offering FREE school and sports physicals for uninsured youth ages 18 and under. Multiple appointment dates are available at our Downtown Orlando, West Orange, and Longwood health centers.

School physicals and sports physicals are available, and ECGs will be provided by Who We Play For when needed for sports participation.

Appointments are required. Call the health center you wish to visit to schedule.
