Today, mom and dad would have been married for 70 years or 25,550 days. Instead, it is their 3rd together some where else. I don’t know if dad believed in God, hell, I don’t even know mom did at the end, but I do know we ALL believed in some form of energy after life, so I hope to feel them someday and be with them again. My dad was correct in that I can’t take care of myself. I can take care of anyone else and everyone else, but I can’t take care of myself. BUT he, also, said I would weigh 300 pounds by the time I was 30 years old! HA! But he didn’t count on how stubborn I can be! Happy Anniversary, mom and dad!

As my birthday winds down, I am missing mom and dad more and more every single day. It’s a lie that it gets easier. It doesn’t. I cry as much today as the day each of you left. I love you both so much!
