Day 25. I have random sharp needles going into my face feeling. It happens a lot of times throughout the day. Also soooo itchy but if I take my meds they make me sleepy. If it’s not one thing it’s another. 😅😁 it’s getting cooler where we live so I don’t know if that’s messing with my face too… Just trying to take it easy and not complain too much 😊🩷

While in Venice we took a Gondula ride. A couple of my mom’s friends had given her money before we left and made her promise for us to make memories together as long as I was feeling good. It was a really cool experience to do once in a lifetime!

Also that gave me about 30 minutes of no one staring at me because I had sunglasses on. 🤩

Day 17 since my MEST procedure. My face is still hard, swollen and itchy.

This morning we went to the bakery right when it opened and got our favorite pastry! We’re spending the rest of the day hanging out, eating the rest of our food we bought and packing our things. We fly to Paris in the morning, then home!! 🏠 ❣️

MEST procedure was on September 24 at Columbus Clinic in Milan, Italy. My first follow up was on October 2nd at the Hospital in Modena, Italy. I will have a scan done in Wisconsin in 3 months and send it to Dr. Colletti for him to review, then schedule a second follow up (video appointment) with him to see how things are proceeding. I cannot get plastic surgery to open up my eye, etc. until we know that ALL of my AVM is 100% cured. 🤞🏻🇮🇹💗

Today is day 16 since surgery. Still so itchy. We didn’t do anything today besides walk to an amazing bakery and got a bunch of stuff to try. This was my favorite thing…might have to get another in the morning!
