I wish more people knew that perimenopause is not just hot flashes.
It can look like anxiety, overwhelm, rage, brain fog, exhaustion, disrupted sleep, joint pain, low motivation, and suddenly feeling uncomfortable in your own body. It can feel like your body stopped responding to the things that used to “work,” even when you are trying so hard to stay healthy.
And one of the hardest parts is that so many women blame themselves for it.
You are not failing.
Your body is changing.
Hormones impact your nervous system, metabolism, sleep, mood, energy, and stress response, which is why this phase can feel so confusing and frustrating.
Women deserve more education, support, and honest conversations about what this transition actually looks like.
