🩷🎀 In October, we wear PINK! 🎀🩷
A big thank-you to the NEMHS Charitable Foundation for continuing this thoughtful tradition in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Each October, the Foundation donates a pink basket filled with goodies to our Mammography Department, giving one lucky patient who completes her annual mammogram at NEMHS during October a chance to win! 🧺💗

💊 Help keep our families, pets, and community safe! Unused and expired medications can pose serious risks if accidentally taken or used by someone they weren't prescribed for. Proper disposal also helps protect our waterways and wildlife.
Take this opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinet and safely dispose of unwanted medications, including pet medications, at the Wolf Point Police Department's Drug Take Back event. A small step can make a big difference in keeping our community safe! 💙

The Wolf Point Police Department is now working in conjunction with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) and we will be hosting our first 'Drug Take Back' event. An officer will be set up outside of the police dept with a box where you can drop off and dispose of any unneeded or expired medications safely. You can also bring your pet's medications.

More than half of the people who misuse prescription medication get it from a friend or relative, often straight out of their medicine cabinet. Medications that are not properly stored in your home or are forgotten about can also be a risk to kids and pets who might accidentally ingest them. Flushing medications or tossing them in the trash is a danger to our waterways and wildlife, let us dispose of them safely for you.
