🌊 Volunteers Needed for iCan Swim Camp! 🌊
Evan’s Voice Community Center is recruiting volunteers for our upcoming iCan Swim Camp, taking place June 22–26.
This nationally recognized program helps individuals with disabilities learn critical water safety and swimming skills while increasing confidence and independence.
We are seeking volunteers ages 15 and older. No swimming experience is required, and no prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is necessary. All lessons take place in the shallow end of the pool, and volunteer training will be provided.
Volunteers may participate in one session, multiple sessions, or full days depending on their availability. Volunteer service letters will be provided for students and others needing documented community service hours.
This opportunity is ideal for:
• High school and college students
• Future teachers and special educators
• Therapists and therapy students
• Nurses and healthcare professionals
• Lifeguards
• Community members looking to make a difference
Many volunteers return year after year because of the meaningful impact they have on campers and families.
You don’t have to be a swimmer to make a difference—you just have to be willing to show up and support a child as they learn a life-saving skill.
