We ask that you partner with us to complete our clinic expansion project. The new clinic will have the capacity to serve more patients and will have an indoor, dry and comfortable waiting room, as well as a separate maternal/pediatric unit (to reduce their risk of infection from sick patients), with a delivery wing where women can deliver their babies in the comfort and safety of their own community. Your support will make this clinic a reality and provide desperately needed care to thousands of patients in these very hard to reach and underserved areas in Yurika and surrounding villages. This is our patient Abubakar, he moved across the country to seek medical care at our free clinic in Yurika. Abubakar has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Due to financial difficulties, he is not able to return to his hometown in the North, so he now lives at our clinic. His urgent needs are food and housing. A consistent diabetic diet is critical for the patient with diabetes. Please help Abubakar live in a safer environment, avoid complications from diabetes, and have a hopeful life in Yurika. Thank you in advance for your support.
