✨ Now Offering Nitrous Oxide for Enhanced Patient Comfort ✨

At our practice, your comfort is one of our top priorities. We're pleased to now offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) as an option for patients during select in-office visits and procedures.

Nitrous oxide is a safe, fast-acting medication that can help reduce anxiety and discomfort while allowing you to remain awake and in control throughout your visit. Its effects wear off quickly, and most patients are able to drive themselves home afterward.

This comfort option may be available for:
🌸 Pelvic & annual exams
🌸 IUD insertions and removals
🌸 Colposcopies
🌸 Endometrial biopsies (EMB)
🌸 And many other in-office procedures

Sentara Health has become the first health system in the nation to have all 10 of its Family Maternity Centers earn the AWHONN Respectful Maternity Care Bronze Designation. This national recognition reflects a commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care to every growing family.

As a practice that has the privilege of delivering babies at Sentara, we're grateful to work alongside nurses, physicians, midwives, and staff who are dedicated to making every birth experience safe, respectful, and supportive.

We are thrilled to share that our latest Childbirth Education Class was a tremendous success, with a fantastic turnout and incredible engagement from our expectant parents!

A special thank you to our very own Misti Gray, CNM and Gabriella Gomez, WHNP, who led the class with their expertise, compassion, and dedication to helping families feel informed, confident, and prepared for their birth experience.

The feedback we've received from participants has been overwhelmingly positive. We love hearing how much our patients appreciate the practical information, supportive environment, and personalized guidance they receive during these classes.
