FOLLOW GOD & BE CURRENT BLESSING-WISE
Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. 2 Kings 20:5

We always hear people say that God reveals to redeem but some people do not understand such redemptive moves of God. When Isaiah came to King Hezekiah to put his house in order because his time was up, those that were there when Isaiah told Hezekiah that he should prepare to die would conclude that that was it. When some were expecting Hezekiah to die and did not see him. They would say that the prophet lied.

Most of the time, following the Lord and what happens to people are conditional. When in I Samuel 3, the Lord told Eli what he was about to do to his family, if Eli had called his family and had repented from what the Lord had said, things could have turned out differently. Most often, if such prophecies did not come true as the prophet had spoken it, people would call him fake, not understanding that they are the ones who are making mistakes and not current with the Lord. This also could go in the way of blessing too. If a prophesy concerning a blessing is released on a person and the person moves or wonders or drifts away from a receiving position, he ought not to blame the prophet. Especially for blessings that carry conditions, one must be in a blessed position to receive them.

However, in Genesis 13, Abraham had his nephew, Lot chose a place to inhabit with his blessings before Abraham, but while he chose the green and rich valley which was better, Abraham was left with the other portion of land that did not look that good. The turnout of things is that Abraham got greatly blessed with the portion he was left with. The lesson is that when people seek and serve the Lord, they can always turn bad prophecies into good prophecies like Hezekiah did; never accept bad prophecies no matter who the prophet is – you can always turn it around by praying to the Lord and presenting your strong reasons. Above all, stay in the place and position of the blessed by seeking to be blessed by obedience, by pleasing the Lord, and in relationship and fellowship with Him.

For you who fear the Lord, following the Lord wholeheartedly and being current with Him brings great reward. In the position of the blessed, like Abraham, you can receive information from them and cause it to be turned around! Also, never will any blessing be stolen from you! Your blessings will always abide, everything prospers at your hand, and you shall dwell secured anywhere the soles of your feet treads!

DON’T LET ANOTHER TAKE YOUR PLACE!
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place. Esther 4:14a

When young people react to injustice, it means that there are still some who are not tied up by the spirit of the last days which is marked by selfishness, the love of self and pleasure more than God, filled with pride and lack of affection. The thinking that as long as I am okay, nothing else matters is a mindset that leads to smallness. The problem is that a person that thinks this way does not open himself up to accessing greatness. Such thinking leads to closed destinies. Thank God for Uncle Mordecai who cautioned his niece Esther into realizing that elevations, promotions and repositioning to higher levels carry greater responsibilities.

Like so many people, initially, Queen Esther did not realize that she was made a queen for a divine assignment and if not for Mordecai, she would have sat on her “Blessed Assurance” and her people would have perished if she had not been pushed into going to the king’s inner court. This could have made her positioning useless because she too could have been a prey and lost that favor that took her to the palace in the first place.

For those who are in great position in life, it would be awesome if they take a greater look at their positions and take stock of how they have used them to change and enhance lives, destinies and served the Lord. If what one can see is only how to make money, enrich themselves and acquire properties and feel all blessed, they are simply calling for another to take their place. If we must know this, in this season, the king’s business needs haste and any deviation from the original plan and purpose would warrant a quick replacement. Therefore, for you who are already in positions of greatness and influence like Esther, and for you who are seeking promotion, elevation and repositioning, find out what the divine agenda is and follow it, then the Lord would add to it wealth, honor and riches! Your selflessness shall usher you into fame. Rest assured, you shall be called a tree of righteousness and a joy of many generations! Have a very fruitful week!

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, show me the purpose for my elevation and give me the grace to fulfill your divine agenda for my life and help me to bring you glory at the end of the day, in Jesus’ Name!

DARE TO BE BRAVE IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34

Though Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people, many people are not ready to dare the bravery of standing out in righteousness when push comes to shove.
Scriptures tell us that the righteous is as bold as a lion. It is with the boldness of the righteous that God expresses Himself and establishes His rule in any domain where His people, I mean the people who are truly called by His name exist. David in Psalm 23 says that “Though I walk through the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for thou are with me”. One thing everyone that truly believes in the Lord must know is that we have God on our sides, the presence of God with us (on the inside of us), and God is for us all the time no matter who or what comes against us or our faith. Therefore, we must rule fear out of our lives.

In Daniel Chapter 3, when the 3 Hebrew men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image, they put them in a fiery furnace and we saw that God ended up joining them in the fire, losing their bands and the fire did not consume them or even hurt them. Neither was there any smell of fire or smoke around them. The result of the matter was that the king made a decree that nobody can speak or say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and he promoted them. Such will be the portion of every true believer who dares to be bold in righteousness wherever they find themselves. In that office, profession, trace, marketplace, the Lord is giving influence on the righteous, He is promoting them so that they can truly represent Him in our day. This is how many will begin to believe in the Most High God and you truly can be called their Apostle in that marketplace.

For you who will dare to be brave and stand out in righteousness, not yielding to evil like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did, the Lord will prepare a table before you in the presence of my enemies like He did for them too, He will increase the anointing upon you and cause your cup to overflow with blessing! His goodness and mercy shall flow in your direction all the days of your life! Do have a glorious weekend!

Additional References: Proverbs 28:1; Psalm 23; Daniel 3:21-30

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, grant me the grace to live for you, dare to live a righteous life and to truly represent you anywhere in this world! Let my result bring you glory and expansion to the Kingdom of God, in Jesus’ Name!

THE END OF THAT TRIAL
But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel; Philippians 1:21

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says that “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Though most times we may not know or understand why certain things happen in our lives, it would be a wise thing to take them to God in prayers whether it originated from Him (like what happened to Job) where God boasted about Job to Satan or it occurred because of human error. Our prayers should be that what happened to us should cause us to end up in divine purpose and with our names in the Book of life.

In Psalm 119:17 David said that “It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.” David did not say this because he loved to be afflicted but he said it was good that he was afflicted because he learnt God’s words, laws, principles and His ways and this helped to structure him into becoming the man after God’s own heart and the king whose throne God made an everlasting one through Jesus Christ (who is God the son), who God sent in the lineage of David as a mark of honor. Who can beat this? This earned David an everlasting mercy before God.

Paul too saw himself in chains and in prison from where he wrote almost two third of the New Testament Books of the Bible. If this had not happened, we would not have such wealth of scriptures to draw from today. In addition, he got his wish to preach the gospel to kings and nobles and folks that he longed to preach to. If this had not happened, he would not have had such opportunities to preach to those people, impact the Christian faith like he did and is still doing long after he went to glory. What’s your prayer concerning what happened to you? I mean that trial that happened in your life; and what your thoughts about it are. No matter how tough, how you almost did not survive it, how it stole so much from you, if you pray that the end of it should be for you to fulfill divine purpose and at the end of it rule with Christ, you are doing very well and are in line with God’s divine plans for your life.

However, for someone who lacks understanding, seeking revenge or wanting to come out of it powerfully and becoming an oppressor is doing the bidding of the devil. Such reasons are why those who think this way get prolonged stay in trials. Finally, for you who truly know the Lord, for you who love the Lord, for you who fear Him and have understanding, your greatness begins to manifest at the end of your trial. Rest assured that you shall be divinely positioned, be above only and in that position of power, wealth and glory that the Lord has created for you. In addition to this is that you will have your name in the Book of Life! For you who are going through trials, hold on and unto the Lord because at the end of it all, everything will work out for your good!

Additional References: Philippians 1:12-14; Psalm 119:65-72

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, let all my trials, afflictions, pains and troubles turn out for my good, submerge me into your divine will, plant my feet on the footprint of time and place my name in the Lamb’s Book of life, in Jesus’ Name!

MOMENTARY TROUBLE, EVERLASTING GAIN!
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5

Anything that God allows His people to go through is for just a very short moment and is meant to yield a very great weight of glory, whether it is satanic temptation or affliction. Scriptures make us to know that after Jesus Christ was baptized in the wilderness by John and was validated by God the Father and the Holy Spirit, according to Matthew Chapter 4:1, it was the same Holy Spirit that came to give credence to His personality that led Him into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. We must know that this temptation came after He had fasted for 40 days and nights.

Whether in temptation like the devil did to Jesus Christ in order to destroy Him or the tests that people like David went through to produce persistence or maturity (as many of us go through today as God’s people), whether it is as short as the temptation of Jesus or the trials of David whereby he ran from Saul for his life for over 10 years, or whether one stays for 25 years of trials like Abraham stayed before he gave birth to the promised son, Isaac, God’s ultimate plan was for us to pass the tests and be like Jesus Christ whose fame began to grow exceedingly as He went from place to place preaching the good news of the kingdom, healing and delivering the people.

Moreover, when the trial was over for Abraham, he got the promised son, Isaac, and when David’s trial was ended, he became the king after God’s own heart and an everlasting Kingdom. While no trial or temptation seems to be joyous or pleasurable for the moment and no matter the duration even it was like the duration of David’s trial or Abrahm’s 25 years of waiting, to God, it is for a short moment or just a night. Therefore, what one needs to fix his gaze on is the lifetime of favor, glory, exceeding weight of glory the result will yield, and the everlasting joy that it brings.

For you who are going through any temptation or trial, just fix your eyes on the fact that it is just for a very short moment and be assured that you shall receive your own lifetime of favor, glory, exceeding weight of glory and the everlasting joy that you will enjoy after all!

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, let this trial situation be for just a short moment indeed, let it not be prolonged! Lord, by your mercies, let my moment of trial usher me into a lifetime of favor, glory, exceeding weight of glory and everlasting joy, in Jesus’ Name!

THE KINGDOM MINDSET
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans 14:17

It is normal or fitting to say that everyone who professes to be born again or believes in the Lord, Jesus Christ and has received Him as Lord and Savior ought to be kingdom minded. This means that he or she that is now born of God has a new way of thinking and living that should be reflective of the Kingdom of the Lord and His Son, Jesus Christ. According to John 3:3-5, any man who believes in the Lord, Jesus Christ, is water baptized and is baptized in the Holy Spirit, ought to be fully kingdom- focused and therefore, be making decisions that reflect the new kingdom he belongs to.

Romans 14:17 says that the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost, therefore everyone who is a part of the kingdom of God must be righteousness conscious, always thinking of how to please God, do justice and how to have the right conduct , how the peace we have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ can extend to others and even to our nation and world at large and also how the joy that we enjoy can extend to others in the world.

Moreover, the kingdom-minded person is that person that seeks first the kingdom of God and his righteousness not only concerning personal matters but also in matters that pertain to his community, the nation, and the world. He puts the interest of the kingdom above that of anything including personal, family, community and nations first and his decisions in everything or every matter reflects it too. King Solomon in 1 Kings 3:4-15 prayed to God that He would give him a wise or discerning heart to lead God’s people right and it pleased the Lord who then Gave him that which he did not ask for – riches to the extent that till today, no one is said to have matched Solomon in riches or wealth. Though many people profess to be kingdom people, it is hard to find truly kingdom-minded people as described. Having a kingdom-mindset shows that one truly loves God. For you who will truly put the interest of the kingdom above yours or other people’s interests, you shall receive a blank check from the Lord, no good thing will ever be withheld from you and riches, honor, enduring wealth, righteousness and more shall be your and for certain, those things that others chase after will begin to pursue you!

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, give me the grace to be kingdom-minded and let your blessing abound unto me. Lord, bless me indeed and let blessings begin to chase after me, in Jesus’ Name!

WHEN HELP IS NEEDED
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. John 5:7

Before Jesus left earth, He promised to send a helper, an advocate and a comforter because he knew exactly what humans needed and did not want man to suffer unnecessarily. But what is surprising is that many people do not know this – that such a divine help (that even surpasses what man can ever do) exists for them, let alone accessing it. Before Jesus came down to earth, this help existed, and it was this help that made the creation possible from the beginning.

As seen from the story of the lame man, without help, there is so much suffering and hardship; there is unnecessary delay and one can stay in one spot in life without fulfilling his divine purpose

If one may get something from the story of the lame man at the pool, the lesson is that when men seem not to be available and there for us, let us shift our focus away from man. Those that are waiting for rich uncles or wealthy and influential clansmen, know that the best of men is still man. Princes also do fail. (Psalm 146:3-5). According to 2 Kings 6:27, when there was so much famine in Israel to the point that people began to eat their children, when a woman cried to the king for help, even the king replied that “If the LORD does not help you, where can I find help for you? From the threshing floor or from the winepress?” It is also interesting to note that according to John 2:24-25, Jesus Christ did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man”.

For those who truly need help in this season, the recent problems in our world have shown us that we can never have to trust humans because even the most powerful of men got their weaknesses exposed to the whole world. Therefore, it is wise to trust in the Holy Spirit of God who brought the earth into existence as the Lord spoke. Moreover, it is Him that filled those who the Lord used before Jesus came, helped Jesus to fulfill his ministry and was sent to help us like He helped Jesus Christ. It is Him that can perfectly connect you to divine, and destiny help without delays. This Holy Spirit is the one that is our intercessor, advocate in Heaven and helps us here on earth. It is Him that promised to guide us into all truth, show us what the Lord has for us and show us things to come. For you who would begin to depend on Him from this moment forward, as you start depending on Him, you shall never look for help another day because before you call, He will answer and while you are speaking to Him, He will answer you! Do have a very fruitful week!

Additional References: Psalm 146:3-7; John 5:1-11; John 16:7-13

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, from now henceforth, take over my life and be my ever-present help, in Jesus’ Name!

LET THE BROKEN BONE REJOICE!
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Psalm 51:8

Psalm 51 is a Psalm that was born out of David’s plea of mercy from the Lord after the Lord through Nathan the Prophet had found him out for killing Uriah, Bathsheba’s husband to cover his crime of adultery and impregnating her. Having followed the Lord for a very long time, David understood the implication, the consequences, and the cost of his bad judgment. He understood that his sin was before God and therefore wanted God to
• Have mercy on him and blot out all his transgressions.
• Wash away all his iniquity and cleanse him from his sin.
• Create in him a pure or clean heart and renew a right spirit in him.
• Not to cast him away from His presence or take away the Holy Spirit from him.
• And many more

One of the profound things in his prayers to the Lord was for God to “Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.” David felt the pain of what he did to his bones, and we know that when the bones feel the pain that we are going through, we have been broken to the core and therefore, we will be needing joy to restore us deeply and cause us to begin to function in life normally again.

Have you been hit to your core by your own misdeed? As you ask for mercy, you shall receive divine restoration that will cause your broken bone to rejoice once again. Have you been going through life’s challenges, temptations of the enemy or trials that have wounded you to your core or bones? As you ask for mercy, the Lord will restore you today and cause you to hear good news, and things that will bring you joy and gladness, and He will make your crushed or bruised bones to be joyful again from now onward!

Additional References: Psalm 51:1-12; Psalm 6:2-3

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, by your mercy, take away everything that is causing my bones to be vexed, pained, dried, crushed or broken! Lord, give me total restorations and cause me to hear good news and let joy and gladness overwhelm my life and refresh my bones now and forever, in Jesus’ Name!

TURNING ANGER TO BLESSINGS!
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Ephesians 4:26
Control your temper, for anger labels you a fool. Ecclesiastes 7:9 (NLT)

There is a reason why the Lord allows anger to exist in humans. Anger that is rightly handled could lead to great blessings for humans. Anger has caused changes and reforms in our world, has caused turnarounds and has brought untold everlasting blessings to humanity. With anger:
• Jesus corrected the ills of the church when He whipped the money changers in the court of the temple and corrected them, And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ Matthew 21:13
• Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal and demonstrated the power of God, shutting down the heavens and reopening the heavens.
• Hannah prayed and got the Lord to bless the world with the first prophet that occupied the office of a Seer through her. The birth of Samuel, the kingmaker, changed the world for good at that time.

We all get angry about some things sometimes but how one handles the situation determines if one is wise or foolish, if one is about correcting error or destruction and causing further pain and anger. In 1 Samuel 1, when Hannah was being provoked by Peninnah, though Hannah did not like her situation, she started looking for a way to vent her anger. She could have chosen the wrong way by engaging Peninnah in constant quarrels, brawls and show downs that could have done nobody in the family any good but she decided to take it to God in prayers because the issue was simple. She did not have any children. It was anger that provoked her to give it all she had and prayed that very prayer that got the priest, Eli thinking that she was drunk. God heard her and we got Samuel the Prophet. Samuel was a blessing to our world and is greatly honored till today.

We know that there are some who think that how to live life is by being angry all the time and before one knows it, they will live with anger till grey hair, in sin. Ephesians 4:26-27 says “Be angry, and do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger, neither give place to the devil.” When people hoard anger, Satan could take advantage and stop their progress, they may become too blinded to take the right action, they may begin to lose control of their visions and dreams. While wise people think about the solution to the problems that brought anger and how to rightly handle their anger, foolish people fight fellow humans without thinking about a solution, and end up hurting themselves, giving room to the devil to work through and against them. This is why Ecclesiastes 7:9 says that “anger resides in the bosom of fools”. For you who are wise, let your anger cause you to think solution, get closer to God, pray and launch you into a new class like it did with Hannah. As you rightly address the anger that you feel, everlasting blessing shall be your portion!

Additional References: 1 Samuel 1:1-20; Matthew 21:12-13; Proverbs 14:29; Prov.16:32; Prov. 25:28

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, by your mercy, grant me the grace not to not be eager in my heart to be angry and not to let anger reside in my spirit! Lord, help me to handle anger correctly so that instead of sinning, it will be my steppingstone to greatness and glory like Hannah had it, in Jesus’ Name!

BETTER DAYS ARE AHEAD!
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

For everyone who becomes a believer, the old way of life must be discarded to reflect the change in government and a new system, and at the same time a new government begins to operate in the person’s life. A new believer must change his way of thinking to be able to conform to God’s ways. There must be a mind renewal. According to Ephesians 4:22-24, we put off that which is corrupt to put on that which is righteous and holy. “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Do you know that it is in the renewing of our mindsets and way of thinking and doing things that we are able to inherit all that the Lord has for us. Whoever claims to be a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and still hanging or holding to his former or old way of doing things is shortchanging his own self and cheating himself off his destiny. When the believer gets serious in doing away with the former way of life of immorality, impurity, debauchery; idolatry, witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy, drunkenness, etc , and embrace the new way of life or righteousness and holiness, his pathway will be like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. This is how he begins to grow and go from glory to glory as he begins to fellowship with the Lord in spirit and in truth and fellowship with fellow believers.

In addition, in this way of true fellowship, growth a transformation becomes automatic, and blessings become inevitable. According to 2 Peter 1:8, if you possess these qualities (the fruit of the Holy Spirit) in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. As you know the Lord, more and more, so shall life become sweeter and sweeter, and things get better and better for you even in a perverse world until Christ comes! For you who possess these new nature, you become a new man with exceeding great and precious promises from the Lord. You are no longer an ordinary person! Do have a very glorious weekend!

Prayer Point: Father, thank you for a new day! Lord, as a partaker of your divine nature with exceeding great and precious promises, give me the grace to pursue righteousness and let my path be like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day, in Jesus’ Name!
