when a muscle is locked up or guarding, it is doing so because your survival-driven nervous system has decided that protection is necessary.

if a therapist comes in with aggressive, overpowering force, your body’s natural instinct is to build a stronger wall and brace harder against the touch.

i take a completely different approach to trauma-informed therapeutic bodywork + energy medicine practitioner.

instead of forcing my way through a defensive layer, i match the tissue’s resistance with steady, listening presence and i teach and lead you with breathing practices to activate and stay in the rest + digest mode, the parasympathetic nervous system.

i give your body the time, safety, and physical support it needs to realize it is safe enough to drop its shield.

when your nervous system feels safe, the muscles follow naturally. not the other way around.

✨sacred immersion | experience deep physical release without the defensive brace and energetic support that brings it all together.

whether i’m guiding a local community class or holding space in a 1:1 session, my intention is always the same: to bring total presence, compassion, and a bit of lightheartedness to your healing journey.

healing is deep work, but it doesn’t have to feel rigid or heavy.

holding an inclusive, welcoming container where our BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community feels seen, heard, and respected is at the core of everything i build.
