I AM JANE DOE. 🖤
Not because I know her story firsthand.
But because, in ways I wish I didn’t understand, I know what it means to carry a story of my own.
Today, I stand in solidarity with Jane Doe, the Cornell survivors, and survivors everywhere.
I stand with those who spoke immediately.
Those who spoke years later.
Those who whispered it to one trusted person.
And those who have never found the words to say it aloud.
Your name does not have to be public for your pain to matter.
Your story does not belong to strangers simply because they demand it.
And surviving should never require surrendering your dignity or your privacy.
For those of us who carry our own stories, sometimes solidarity simply means standing beside another survivor and saying:
I see you.
I hear you.
I believe your right to be heard.
You are not standing alone.
I want justice for those seeking accountability.
I want support for those carrying wounds others may never see.
I want healing, peace, restoration and salvation for every person affected.
And if these words speak for you too—take them. Share them. Make them yours. I don’t need the credit. I need the message heard.
I AM JANE DOE.
WE ARE JANE DOE.
And we stand with survivors. 🖤
