Bronco's Benevolent Foundation

Bronco's Benevolent Foundation Raising awareness and support for pediatric transplant patients and their families. When do you first think about being an organ donor?

When you get your driver's license? Most people don't think about it until then. Where do the organs for children come from then? You can't take an adult heart or kidney and put it into a child. This was something that hadn't dawned on us either. Bronco Reese was born in 2006 with four congenital heart defects. Surgery tried to correct some of the problems but in 2012, Bronco was placed on the hea

rt transplant list. A little over a year ago, Bronco got a new heart. Difficult times like this can rip a family apart. Instead, Scott and Joanna Reese have stayed strong and are helping the families of other organ transplant patients. Sure, they have their ups and down like everyone else but they stay true to their cause. To raise the awareness of pediatric organ donation and to improve the journey of pediatric transplant patients and their families. Scott, Joanna, and Bronco formed the Bronco's Benevolent Foundation and can be found at the hospital helping and feeding families quite often. They host benefit motorcycle rides, gather food and other donations for the families, and visit patients awaiting organ transplants to encourage them just like their friends did for them.
