Well they might if:
✅️ their parents are divorced
✅️ their family is blended
✅️ they've been bullied at school
✅️ they've witness violence
✅️ they've been in foster care
✅️ they complain of poor sleep or frequent tummy aches.
✅️ they've experienced a natural disaster
✅️ they've lost or been separated from someone or something they love
✅️ there is a family history of mental illness, anxiety or su***de attempts
✅️ they have behavior issues

A child's brain may not be able to form the words for traditional talk therapy, but play therapy helps them process feelings, memories and emotions to help them regulate their nervous system.
