✨ Investing in Knowledge. Bringing Better Care Home. ✨
I’ve spent the past few days in Nashville attending advanced clinical training, and I’m coming home with a renewed passion for learning, growing, and providing the very best care possible for my patients! ❤️
This conference expanded my knowledge in several important areas of healthcare, including:
🩺 Hormone Health: Advancing my understanding of hormone changes, menopause, thyroid health, and strategies for evaluating patients who continue to experience symptoms despite treatment.
⚖️ Metabolic Health & Weight Management: Exploring the science behind insulin resistance, body composition, GLP-1 medications, and individualized approaches to sustainable weight management.
❤️ Cardiovascular & Preventive Health: Learning more about metabolic risk factors, cardiovascular biomarkers, and opportunities to identify potential health concerns earlier.
🌿 Gut Health, Nutrition & Lifestyle: Deepening my understanding of how nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and gut health can influence overall well-being.
🧬 Healthy Aging & Longevity: Exploring emerging research involving cellular health, mitochondrial function, NAD+, peptides, and other approaches being studied for their potential role in healthy aging.
But perhaps the most important takeaway is this: There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare.
Every patient has a unique story, medical history, set of symptoms, goals, and challenges. I want to continue looking beyond a single symptom or lab result to better understand the whole person sitting in front of me.
I’m bringing home new knowledge, new perspectives, and a commitment to continue asking questions, evaluating the evidence, and individualizing treatment plans based on each patient’s needs. New and emerging therapies deserve thoughtful consideration, including a careful review of the available evidence, safety, and potential risks and benefits.
My goal has always been to help my patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their health. Continuing education is one of the ways I work toward that goal.
I will never stop learning, because my patients deserve a provider who never stops growing. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who makes opportunities like this possible, and thank you to my patients for trusting me with your care. I’m excited to bring what I’ve learned back into practice!
We will see you normal business hours Tuesday, October 20th! ☺️
