Have you ever asked your doctor "how long will this take?" — and gotten an answer that didn't really fit what you were living through?
That question is the starting point for this week's episode of Made to Be Whole. Krista talks about why the usual medical model — diagnosis, protocol, timeline, done — doesn't translate well to chronic illness, and what actually matters when you're trying to figure out why healing is taking the time it's taking.
She shares some of the things that can make the biggest difference in someone's trajectory (mold exposure, nutrient deficiencies, genetics, how long things have been building), and she also talks about how to measure progress when it doesn't look the way you expected it to (or wanted it to).
She makes the point that you can be healed before you're cured. Peace, function, and joy are available in the middle of the hard part — not just at the end of it.
