The DPT program headed to a WooSox game in September to welcome the DPT1s to the school year where they got to meet the DPT2 and faculty throughout the night while cheering on the team! One of our very own DPT2 student threw the first pitch of the game!⚾️

Our 2nd year DPT students spent a Saturday at the community health fair hosted for members of the Nipmuck Tribe at Tufts Veterinary School. They staffed the MCPHS health and wellness table answering questions about physical therapy and performed balance screenings to community members.

Happy Physical Therapy Month! First year DPT students learned about gait mechanics and observed joint movements more clearly in the dark. Students analyzed activities including throwing and walking; swipe to the end to view another surprise skill!

Two of our now 2nd year DPT students were fortunate to be able to volunteer at Camp No Limits this summer in Maine. Camp No Limits is a family camp program that supports children with limb loss or limb differences. Our 2nd year DPT students helped with PT sessions and bike clinic, learned about amputee soccer, played adaptive pickleball, watched the talent show, and made so many memories as well as friendships and connections with all the campers and staff!
