📣 BIG NEWS: On Saturday, September 26, we cut the ribbon on the Harrison House Childcare Center with The Clark Foundation. We will be thrilled soon to welcome children to our new childcare center!

Saturday was also a very special event to honor Barbara Mulhern - daughter of Dr. Francis F. Harrison, who was the namesake of the original Harrison House, on her 101st birthday. Barbara reflected on her childhood home and the new and exciting ways the space will serve our communities - always with a focus on rural care.

Thanks to The Clark Foundation’s incredible generosity, support, and vision, we will soon make a critically needed service available to our caregivers' families. The Center, which we will operate in partnership with Cullman Child Development Center, will offer flexible scheduling, evening hours, and sick care. We are also deeply grateful to Eastman Associates, Inc., for their shared commitment to preserving the external historic appearance of the original Harrison House while constructing a state-of-the-art childcare facility inside.

Welcome Natalie Lomoriello, CRNA, our newest Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Bassett Medical Center. At BMC Natalie administers anesthesia to patients of all ages as they prepare for procedures.

Natalie earned her degree from the State University of New York Buffalo School of Nursing in Buffalo, NY. She is board-certified by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.

Exciting changes are coming to our Oncology Unit at FoxCare Center in Oneonta! Phase one of a multi-million-dollar renovation project that has been years in the making is complete. The final phase of construction is now underway. We can’t wait until the full project is complete next year and are so grateful for the understanding of our patients and caregivers as construction moves forward.
