✨ 2,000 CLASSES STRONG ✨
Today we’re celebrating an extraordinary milestone — 2,000 classes on the mat at 359° Yoga. Even more special? Her very first class with us was on November 11th, 2017, and it was taught by Natalie. From that first class to today, her dedication has been nothing short of inspiring. In yoga we call this Tapas!
When we asked what keeps her coming back to her practice, her answer captured the heart of yoga so beautifully:
“Yoga keeps me balanced and stronger. I love the atmosphere — the people are friendly and the teachers are so supportive. I enjoy the challenge and how the teachers help me get the most out of my practice.”
She shared how yoga supports her not only in class, but in everyday life — improving balance, strength, and daily movement.
“Sometimes I’m stiff, but when it’s over I feel so much better.”
Like many students, the biggest obstacle at the beginning was simply committing to a few days a week.
“I didn’t think I would want to do that at first, but now I know it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. That commitment is what helps me feel stronger and, most importantly, balanced.”
Along with her yoga practice, she stays active by stretching at home and walking her dog, and she credits yoga with helping bring mind, body, and spirit into focus.
Her advice for anyone thinking about starting?
“Make yoga part of your fitness routine. 359° Yoga offers so many classes for all levels. You can get a great, balanced workout, and the teachers — and other participants — offer so much help and encouragement.”
Off the mat, she’s a proud parent of three children and grandparent to nine grandchildren, and we’re deeply honored to be part of her wellness journey.
