Why sauna year-round? One reason is heat acclimation.

With regular infrared sauna use, your body adapts to repeated heat exposure by becoming more efficient at regulating temperature.

These adaptations can include earlier sweating, increased sweat production, and improved temperature regulation. Athletes often incorporate heat training before competition.

Like many physiological adaptations, however, heat acclimation isn't permanent. Without continued heat exposure, these adaptations gradually diminish over time.

That's why many people view infrared sauna as a year-round wellness practice rather than a seasonal one.
