Last night was the closing of another era in my yoga teaching as the doors of ahhhMazing Life closed on Jackson St. We did some yoga, reminisced, and shared in gratitude and a little 🍷.

I want to thank Olga of Posh Lashes for her kindness and “no drama” as my landlady for the opportunity.

And my wonderful students and friends for both giving of their energy and trust and receiving what I shared. I love 💕 you all and know the lessons and love 💗 of life are continuing. I am still available on a private basis and at Wylie Rec Monday & Friday at 930 am.

Thank you Jill, Memory, Anne, Lisa and Regina for a very special closing night. 💖💗💜

PS Kiran your friendship has grown near and dear through this journey together.

With Diwali coming up this October, I want the residents and citizens to be aware that a common symbol of this holiday is a Diwali sw****ka. This symbol is known to date back to 3000 BCE. A symbol of good fortune and good wishes, the sw****ka is a holy symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The word "sw****ka" comes from the Sanskrit words su (good) and asti (to prevail). In Hinduism, the right-hand sw****ka is a sign of the sun and auspiciousness, while the left-hand version symbolizes the night and the goddess. Understanding the concerns people may have seeing this symbol being displayed on cars and houses, we wanted to inform all of you that there is good reason you may see it more frequently this month because of Diwali October 31-November 1. This post is in light of our police department already fielding calls regarding people seeing this symbol on cars and houses. We are trying to eliminate any unwarranted hostility towards any person displaying this for their religious purposes.
