⏳How long does it last?
After the 4-6 week touch-up session, results last 3-5 years before needing to have another touch-up to refresh the color

•Why do I need touch-ups?
Microblading and PMU (permanent makeup)
is performed using pigments that are different that your typical body tattoo ink. On the day of your Initial session, the color will appear darker, and over the following 3-5 days as your brows/eyeliner/lips heal, the color will lighten anywhere from 30%-50%
The 4-6 week touch-up session is when we will basically reinforce the color, this is essential for your color to last. Without this step the color will fade off within 6-12 months

•Do I need to schedule a consultation prior to making an appointment?
I always include a consultation as part of your appointment, during this time we will discuss desired shapes, map out the brows, discuss and mix your color. Here at Amber’s Aesthetics I always involve you during the process and have you look at the shape and color before starting the procedure. I will also review how to care for your new brows or PMU during this time.
I offer FREE phone ☎️consultations to answer any questions you may have.
I also offer in house consultations for $50
the $50 consultation fee goes toward the cost of service if 📆scheduled within 60 days.

Does it hurt?
You can expect minimal discomfort, after all you are basically getting a face tattoo ☺
I use a topical lidocaine to "pre numb" for approximately 20min prior to your session and throughout the procedure as needed. I want you to be as comfortable as possible.
Most clients barely feel anything, and I've had several even fall asleep during the procedure

Who isn't a candidate for microblading & PMU?
•Diabetics
•If you are pregnant
•If you have a blood disorder
•On blood a thinner*
check with your doctor as you may be able to discontinue use of blood thinners for a few days prior to your appointment

What is the healing time?
There's no actual down time, however, I do not recommend getting microblading or PMU the week of any event where you will be in family photos or an event that you would want to have your makeup done. I also wouldn't recommend getting the procedure done the 1-2 weeks prior to any trip or vacation where you will be out in the sun.
•you will be given aftercare instructions a cleanser & ointment to apply
•you will need to use the cleanser and ointment provided every morning and every night for 5-7 days
•the color will be darker for the first few days and lighten as it starts to heal
•you will have little scabs of color flake off on the 2nd-4th day, this is normal, do NOT pick or scratch them off, apply more ointment throughout the day when it feels itchy or dry
•Do NOT apply any makeup directly on the area for at least 7 days and be sure to clean all makeup brushes
•after day 7 you can go back to your normal routine
