there is a difference between engaging with another artist’s post and seeing their comment section as an opportunity to advertise yourself.

please make your own post. build your own engagement. promote yourself on your own platform. my comment section is not available for booth rent. 😭

and before anybody takes this the wrong way — I LOVE supporting and uplifting other artists/businesses. but if I want to promote, shout out, recommend, or give somebody else’s business exposure on MY platform, I will do so on my own terms.

commenting your availability, dropping your portfolio, or telling people to book with you underneath my posts when nobody asked is not networking. it’s unsolicited advertising.
