Had a little too much fun at the prickly pear festival! This was my first year but they have it every year and this was year 15. I will definitely be visiting again next year!

Save this so you use the right tongs when harvesting prickly pears 🤗. I used the wrong ones not knowing but have since learned!

PSA: you CAN use them but know they will always have spines and be for cacti only and you may poke yourself.

These four lettuce brands have been very outspoken on the safety protocols that they follow and have confirmed they are free of the parasite.

You can also get lettuce from your local farmers market.

Found a little gem of a coffee shop tucked away in Laveen . It's a spot where you'll want to linger a while, they have a huge focus on the community so if you're looking for a new favorite this is worth the stop!
