Adjusting to vision loss caused by eye diseases such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and retinitis pigmentosa brings about life-changing challenges to individuals and their families. An increasing number of people worldwide and in our community are affected by vision loss. VIC was formed to meet the needs of these individuals and their families. VIC offers a low vision cli

nic where an optometrist trained in low vision assists patients with finding devices, which enable then to make the most of their remaining vision. Such devices include magnifiers, lamps, glare shields and sunglasses.

SAVE THE DATE!!!

Do you enjoy golf??? Competition??? Charitable Giving??? Supporting your community??? Have low vision??? Have family members or friends who struggle with low vision???

If you said 'YES' to any of the above, you need to save the date for our legendary fundraiser - "Dinner in the Dark"!!!

This year we're changing things up! Venue is now the Elks Golf and Country Club and we will have many activities and games centered around Golf and your skills (and you don't need to be a Golfer either). We'll still have all of the yearly treasured activities like the 3-Tiered Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle, Dessert Auction and many others. Don't forget the gourmet meal to boot!

We invite you to join us on Saturday, October 24, 2025. This unique event provides a small glimpse into the challenges our clients face, and all proceeds directly support the vital services we provide.

For newbies, here's the lowdown:

Imagine navigating your world with extreme limited vision. For many in our communities, this is a daily reality. We are a diverse organization and clinic offering a myriad of services ranging from exams, fitting of devices, and sales of many different products to improve the life of those affected by extreme low vision. No individuals are turned away due to inability to pay.

Please consider showing your support in one of the following ways:

* Join us for dinner and all of the fun activities! Tickets are just $50 and include two drink tickets.
* Donate a silent auction item to help us raise more funds.
* Become a corporate sponsor and showcase your company's commitment to our community. We have several levels of support to fit your needs. Please contact me for further info.

Your support makes a tangible difference. Let's stand together to help our neighbors regain their independence.

For tickets and more information, scan the included QR code- it's easy to sign up and tickets will go quickly. Or you can call the clinic at (509) 452-8301 or use the following link: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=99LMQZHXE3HVE
