Sitting here finishing my charting after being up with a first-time mama, helping her navigate the journey of bringing her baby into the world.

Some births are quick. Some births take their sweet time. And some require patience, presence, reassurance, and simply being there for as long as it takes.

No matter how tired I am when it’s over, I have a full heart. ❤️
