Duffy Health Center will be participating in Falmouth’s International Overdose Awareness Day Community Event on Monday, August 31.

Join us and members of the community as we remember those we have lost to overdose, raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support those impacted by substance use.

🎨💜 A meaningful gift inspired by Duffy’s mission. This summer, John Foley, MD, an MBA student at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, completed a summer internship at Duffy and donated two original paintings to Duffy Health Center.

One of the pieces, “She Too Walked This Path,” was inspired by our Moms Do Care program and its peer recovery model. The painting represents, in Dr. Foley’s words, “one mother who has walked this path reaching back to help another mother walk it too.”

Thank you, Dr. Foley, for this beautiful tribute to our patients, staff, and mission.

While the loved ones of the individual struggling may not suffer from addiction themselves they are an important part of the recovery of the individual who struggles.
