Welcome Tara Stone to River's Edge! ✨

She is a Licensed Holistic Massage Therapist and graduate of Spa Tech Institute, with advanced training in CranioSacral Therapy. Originally from Connecticut, she earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine. Tara's work is rooted in creating space for the body to slow down, reset, and restore—using gentle, intentional techniques that support the nervous system and guide the body toward a more balanced state.

With a background in health and wellness as a former personal trainer and certified health coach, Tara brings a deep understanding of how the body holds and responds to stress. Her approach emphasizes working with the body rather than against it, making her sessions especially supportive for those feeling tense, overwhelmed, or in need of a nervous system reset. Her work is also well-suited for those seeking effective, therapeutic bodywork without the use of deep pressure.

Before transitioning into massage therapy, Tara worked in Human Resources, where she cultivated a strong foundation in communication and creating supportive, easeful environments. She carries this presence into her treatment space, offering care that is both attentive and grounding, so each client feels comfortable, heard, and genuinely supported.

Outside of the treatment room, Tara enjoys staying active, being near the water throughout all seasons, and exploring new coffee spots—simple rituals that help her stay connected and balanced in her own life.
