This was a matching tattoo idea with a little twist ✨🌲🌊
Same concept, two completely different vibes. The tattoo on the left was done in a fine line, dainty feel, while the one on the right was created with a darker, moodier look. I love how the same design can tell two different stories depending on the style.

If you were choosing, would you go for the soft and delicate version or the dark and moody one? 🖤

A sweet little mix of daisies, carnations, thistles, and baby’s breath for this back piece. I really love how this one came together. It feels soft, a little wild, and fits the shape of the spine so nicely. Floral tattoos like this are always hard for me not to love. 🤍

If you were building your own floral tattoo, what flowers would you choose? 🌼

Today, Kahlil and I had the honor of presenting YHS Connects with a $7,000 check to help support the Yelm High School Band during the 2026–2027 school year. ❤️

What started as a week of donating our time and doing what we love turned into something even bigger because of our incredible community. Every tattoo, every donation, every share, and every person who showed up helped make this possible.

We are so grateful to everyone who supported this fundraiser and helped us give back to these students. Seeing what we can accomplish together is pretty amazing. Thank you for being part of it!

I’m still here. 👋

Just because I don’t post content every day doesn’t mean I’m not working. Social media has a funny way of making us believe that if we don’t see it, it must not be happening.

But there’s a whole lot that happens behind the posts.

I’m tattooing. I’m drawing. I’m answering messages. I’m working with clients. I’m handling the behind-the-scenes responsibilities of running a business, supporting my team, planning events, and trying to make time for life outside of work too.

And sometimes, I’m simply too busy doing the work to stop and document it.

I love sharing my tattoos and pieces of my life with you, but I’ve also learned that I don’t have to constantly create content to prove that I’m still creating.

So yes, I’m still here. Still tattooing. Still creating. Still growing. I’m just not always posting about it.

Thank you for those who continue to follow, like and share my posts. I’ll keep posting as much as I can (remember 😆) !🖤

If you’ve been following the Dancing Needles Tattoo page, then you probably know that my apprentice, Kahlil , and I have spent this past week raising funds for the Yelm High School Band.

So, what does fundraising look like for us?

For events like this, we simply donate our time and talent for an entire week. There’s no set price for the tattoos. We simply ask people to give what they can, with the goal of raising as much money as possible for a cause we care about and donate 100% to the recipient.

Today is the final day of our fundraiser, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful.

A little fun fact about Kahlil and me: Kahlil was in band throughout high school and played the trumpet. I went to a private school that didn’t have a band, but I grew up playing the piano. Music was a part of both of our lives, and we understand the confidence, connection, and sense of belonging it can give someone, especially when they’re young.

No matter where I’ve lived, finding ways to give back to the community around me has always been important to me. I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve found a way to do that through something I love. I’ve always believed that if you’re in a position to give back, you should, and events like this allow me to put that belief into action.

But there’s another piece of this that makes any of it possible: all of you.

Time and time again, this community shows up. You support the causes that matter to us, trust us with your tattoos, share our events, spread the word, and remind me why creating a studio that was about more than just tattooing was so important to me.

I can’t thank you enough for believing in what we do and helping us turn our passion into something that can make a difference beyond the walls of our studio.

Here’s to finishing this week strong, celebrating what we’ve accomplished together, and continuing to find ways to take care of the community that continues to take care of us. ❤️

One last day for the YHS Band. Let’s make it count!

Pictured here is Jeremy, a former YHS Tornados mascot! He came and got his very first tattoo to help support the band. Thank you so much, Jeremy!

It’s been a busy week so far, but I had to share this tiny one! 🌈 (Hint: zoom in)

Definitely one of the smallest tattoos I’ve done and in one of the more unusual spots! Sometimes the tiniest tattoos require just as much precision as the big ones. 👀

Would you get a tattoo here?
🌈 YES — I love it!
😬 NO — that spot makes me nervous!
🤔 MAYBE — but only something tiny!

And while we’re here, a HUGE thank you to everyone who has participated in our fundraiser for the Yelm High School Band this week. Every appointment, walk-in, share, and bit of support helps us give back to our community.

We’re still going, so let’s finish this fundraiser strong! ❤️

Bonus question: What’s the most unusual place you’ve ever gotten (or would get) a tattoo?

These little boo bees were too cute not to share. 👻🐝 One came prepared for trick-or-treating, and the other apparently chose violence. 😂🔪🎃

I am not opposed to doing what needs to be done to get a tattoo applied perfectly. So for those wondering, yes I sometimes sit or even lay on the floor to get the stencil just right. 😂

Oh, and I know it’s not quite spooky season, but it’s never the wrong time to get the tattoo you want. I love how these spooky little guys turned out! 🖤🐝👻

The first chapter of a beautiful floral color sleeve. 🌸

Every flower in this piece was carefully chosen to represent the birth month of someone she loves most. The clients hope is that she can continue to build on this sleeve later down the road.

This fine line piece was inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, specifically Mt. Rainier. While creating this tattoo, I learned something new. The mountain’s name, təqʷuʔməʔ (Taquoma), is the Lushootseed name for what many of us know as Mt. Rainier. I always enjoy learning the stories and history behind the places that inspire the tattoos I create. Thank you for trusting me with this meaningful piece.
