Today I had the opportunity to attend Silas Day at Silas High School in Tacoma, Washington with Shelby, Aubrey, and Kahlil.

We spent the day talking with students about what it takes to build a career in the tattoo industry, sharing our experiences, and answering questions about the many paths available within the profession. We also challenged students to create their own drawings, gave them hands-on practice using pen cartridges to simulate tattooing, and taught them how to apply stencils.

It was amazing to see so much creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. Opportunities like this are a great reminder that art can open doors to rewarding careers, and I’m grateful we were invited to be a part of it.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible. We had a fantastic time and hope we inspired a few future artists along the way! 🎨🖤✨

Bold florals and geometric elements make such a satisfying combination. 🌺✨
Loved creating this vibrant poppy piece with layered shapes and rich color contrasts to give it a modern, abstract feel while still keeping the flower soft and natural.

I’d love to do more projects like this, especially pieces that combine botanical elements with geometric design and color.

✨Sharing a large-scale ornamental back piece tattoo project I’m currently working on for an upcoming tattoo convention.

Thank you to my friend Misi for helping me lay the stencil and center the design around my client’s existing tattoo.

This first session took just over 5 hours. I was able to complete all of the line work and plan to complete the bold line work and begin shading on the next session.

I’m always looking for new projects to add to my portfolio and welcome collaborations.

(I had to talk so fast to get all my words into the video…sorry 😂)

I wanted to show you a chest piece I just finished featuring a moth and florals.

Instead of using only fine lines, I used a mix of different line weights to create more depth and movement in the design. Some areas are bolder while others stay soft, and this contrast helps the design read better and gives it more dimension. My client requested minimal shading because she wants to come back later to add color, so we kept everything lighter and more open.

I love working this way because it lets the tattoo evolve over time rather than locking everything in all at once.
