Healing isn’t only about the mind—our bodies can carry stress, tension & the effects of trauma too.
This is one reason I believe so deeply in massage & bodywork as part of the healing journey. Safe, intentional touch can help us slow down, release tension, reconnect with our bodies, & create a greater sense of calm & safety.
Sometimes healing means talking through what happened. Sometimes it also means learning to feel safe in your own body again.
The mind matters. The body matters. Healing can involve caring for both. Adding regular massage therapy sessions to the healing process can help peel those unwanted layers of gunk & trauma off more quickly!
