I'll start: Sips Cafe & Creamery in Manchester - I love it because they have healthy lunch & brekkie options and some sinful sweets as well! I hear their custom coffees are amazing but sadly i don't like coffee. They also support other small businesses, selling boutique items in store! And my personal fave....They have PLANTS too! 🪴🌿

Nobody opens a med spa dreaming about fire extinguisher inspections...
But if it helps keep our patients safe, we're all in.

This week's wins:
✔️ Insurance secured
✔️ Occupancy permit floor plan completed
✔️ Fire extinguisher inspection passed
✔️ Emergency lighting installed
✔️ Exit signage in place
✔️ Compliance boxes checked

Not exactly the glamorous side of aesthetics—but these are the milestones that matter most.

Behind every treatment room is a lot of work patients never see, and that's exactly how it should be. Safety, compliance, and professionalism are part of the foundation we're building at Refined Aesthetics Studio.

Building a business from the ground up isn't glamorous. It's long days, sleepless nights, financial risk, and carrying the weight of every decision yourself.

But one thing I've learned is that if we don't take care of ourselves, we can't show up as our best for our clients, our families, or our business.

While I've been taking moments to recharge in nature and enjoy some much-needed downtime, my esthetician, Kenzie, is doing the same—exploring Alaska on a cruise and making memories with her husband.

As we work to build Refined Aesthetics Studio from the ground up, we're also committed to practicing what we preach: self-care, balance, and making time for the things that fill our cups.

The dream is important. So are the people building it. 🌿
