NEW at our Hill Street Center in York!

We’re excited to share that a CommunityAid clothing donation bin is now located in the parking lot of The Arc of York & Adams Counties’ Hill Street Center!

That means you can now donate your gently used clothing 24 hours a day by simply dropping it off in the bin—and the clothing collected will help benefit The Arc of York & Adams Counties.

Cleaning out your closet? Have clothes your family has outgrown? Bring them our way and help support our mission while giving those items a second life!

You can also continue to donate clothing and other accepted items at any CommunityAid location. Just be sure to provide our Partner Number: 50367 so proceeds from your donation benefit The Arc of York & Adams Counties.

A FIRST for The Arc of York & Adams Counties!

Last night, we held our FIRST EVER Self-Advocacy Group Meeting, and we could not be more excited about what is ahead!

The Arc's Self-Advocacy Group gives people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a place to come together, share their ideas, learn how to speak up for themselves, build confidence, make connections, and have a stronger voice in the decisions that affect their lives and their communities.

This newly formed group will be a place for members to learn from one another, grow as leaders, discuss issues that matter to them, and help make a difference.

We are incredibly excited to see this group grow!

Stop by their station, add a little shimmer to your hair, and get Buddy Walk-ready with a colorful touch of sparkle. It’s just one more reason to come out and enjoy an afternoon filled with fun, friendship, and community!

Come check out the racecar up close, snap some photos, and enjoy an afternoon packed with fun, friendship, and community as we celebrate and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
