This afternoon upon returning to base from a flight, crews found our storage area to smell strongly of electrical burning. The Gettysburg Fire department, United Hook & Ladder Company #33, and the state police were immediate with their response and took careful consideration to determine the HVAC unit was causing the odor. No smoke or fire! Our many gracious thanks for their diligence preventing a fire and keeping our crew, and storage safe!
