More pressure doesn’t mean a better clean. 🪥

Brushing too hard can actually do more harm than good, leading to enamel wear, gum recession, and tooth sensitivity over time. You might notice frayed bristles, sore gums, or increased sensitivity if you're brushing too aggressively.

The fix is simple: use a soft-bristled brush, gentle circular motions, and let the toothbrush do the work. Two minutes is all you need.

We can’t believe July is already flying by and we are officially halfway through the year, which makes this the perfect time to check in on your dental insurance benefits. Many plans include coverage that resets at the end of the year if unused, so now is a great time to make sure you are getting the most out of what you have already paid for.

Whether it is a cleaning, treatment you have been putting off, or simply using your remaining benefits, a quick check-in now can help you avoid losing them later.

🦷 Cavities form when bacteria in your mouth feeds on sugars from food and drinks, producing acid that slowly erodes tooth enamel. The longer the acid stays in contact with your tooth surface, the more damage it causes. Understanding how cavities form is the first step to preventing them. 😁

The good news? 🪥🪥 Brushing twice daily, flossing once a day, drinking water, and keeping up with cleanings are your best defenses.

Vacations are for relaxing, but your dental care should not take a break. Keep it simple. Brush twice a day, floss when you can, and rinse with water after sugary snacks or drinks. A small travel dental kit makes it easy to stay consistent, no matter where you are. A little effort now means no surprises later, just a healthy smile and great memories.
