Stretched your neck a hundred times and the tension keeps coming back?
Often the neck isn't tight because it's short. It's tight because it's compensating for something below — your thoracic spine, your ribcage, your hips.
You stretch it. Feels better for a bit. Comes right back. Because the reason it tensed up hasn't changed.
It's like a rope caught on something. You can pull on it all day — it won't get longer if it's caught.
If you have a diagnosed nerve issue, keep working with your doctor or PT — they know your specific situation.
But if stretching alone hasn't given lasting relief, the foundation underneath might be the missing piece.
