🎶 WHAT KEPT ME SAFE — Solae Grace

Sometimes we look back at ourselves and see walls.

We see the distance.
The hesitation.
The boundaries.
The instinct to walk away.
The difficulty trusting again.

And we wonder, What happened to me?

But maybe there's another question:

What was I trying to protect?

“What Kept Me Safe” is about finally looking at the person you became with understanding instead of judgment.

Maybe every wall doesn't need to stay.

Maybe every defense doesn't belong in the life you're building now.

But you can lay down the armor without hating the person who once needed to wear it.

Sometimes healing isn't becoming someone completely different.

Sometimes it's walking home to yourself and saying:

I understand why you did what you did.
Thank you for getting me here.
You can rest now.

🎧 I’d love to know: What is something you once considered a flaw that you now realize may have protected you?

❤️ What do YOU carry into a room before you ever say a word?
Love? Peace? Joy? Tension? Judgment? Kindness? Energy?

My new Solae Grace song, “What You Carry Into the Room,” is about something we all feel but don't always recognize:

We enter a room before our words do.

People feel what we bring with us—the warmth in our presence, the heaviness we're holding, the openness of our heart, the walls we've built, the love we're willing to give.

And sometimes one person walking into a room carrying genuine love can change the entire energy of everyone in it.

That's what I wanted this song—and this colorful little cover—to capture. ❤️🎶

So tell me in the comments: What do you want people to FEEL when you walk into a room?

And if your answer is love, drop a ❤️ below.

❤️ **Have you ever realized you were surviving… when what you really wanted was to LIVE?**

I’d love to hear from you in the comments: **What is one thing you want more of in this chapter of your life?** Joy? Love? Adventure? Peace? Freedom? Purpose?

🎶 **NEW SONG — “The Shape of the Sun” — Solae Grace**

Sometimes we become so good at surviving that we mistake endurance for healing.

We learn how to carry the hurt.
How to keep going.
How to make ourselves smaller.
How to stay quiet.
How to get through another day.

And there is strength in that.

But there comes a moment when something inside us whispers:

**I didn't survive all of that just to keep surviving.**

This song is about that moment.

It's about honoring the version of ourselves who got us through the fire—then giving ourselves permission to walk toward something else.

To want again.
To laugh again.
To take up space.
To open the windows.
To let love in.
To wake up curious about tomorrow.

Maybe healing isn't learning how to live comfortably with the darkness.

Maybe it's finally becoming brave enough to discover...

☀️ **the shape of the sun.**

❤️ **If this song speaks to you, please SHARE it.** Someone on your page may be surviving quietly and need the reminder that they're allowed to want more than simply getting through the day.

❤️ Before I release this one, I want to hear from YOU.
Share this post with someone whose one-of-a-kind spirit makes your world better. Then tell me in the comments: Should I release “Your Signature” on Spotify? YES or NO? 🎶

YOUR SIGNATURE — Solae Grace

There are billions of people in this world, but there has never been another you.

Nobody has your exact laugh.
Your way of loving.
Your sense of humor.
Your scars and stories.
Your strange little quirks.
Your way of walking into a room and changing its energy without even realizing it.

We spend so much of our lives comparing ourselves to other people that sometimes we forget:

We were never supposed to be copies.

Every person leaves something behind—a word, a kindness, a laugh, a moment, a feeling someone remembers years later.

Those are the fingerprints we leave on one another.

That is Your Signature. ❤️

I wanted the music itself to reflect that individuality—unexpected layers, human sounds, rises and falls, and Solae's voice becoming part of the instrumentation. Something a little different, because different is exactly what this song celebrates.

So now I need your vote:

🎧 Should “Your Signature” go to Spotify?
Drop a YES or NO below—and tell me one thing about YOU that nobody else can duplicate.

❤️ If this song speaks to you, please share it. Every time you share a Solae Grace song, it reminds me that these words are finding the people who need to hear them—and it inspires me to keep writing, creating, and sharing more music with you. 🎶

There comes a point when looking outward stops giving us the answers.
We can spend years analyzing other people—their choices, their behavior, their wounds, their intentions.
But the harder journey is inward.
What triggers me?
What am I avoiding?
What story have I been telling myself?
What part of myself have I refused to see?
Sometimes the people who challenge us become mirrors. And sometimes what we see in that mirror is uncomfortable.
But self-awareness isn't about blaming ourselves for everything.
It's about becoming curious enough—and brave enough—to recognize what belongs to us.
My newest Solae Grace song, **“Who Looks Inside, Awakens,”** is about that moment.
The moment we stop trying to understand everyone else...
and finally become willing to understand ourselves.
🎶 **WHO LOOKS INSIDE, AWAKENS — Solae Grace**
*"I spent years reading everybody...
Now I'm learning how to read me."*
❤️ If this one makes you uncomfortable in just the right way, I'd love to know what line found you.

**QUICK QUESTION — and I really want you to answer this one. ❤️**

Have you ever had that little voice inside say **“Don’t do it”** or **“This is the way”**…

…and you ignored it?

👇 **Did your intuition turn out to be right? Tell me what happened in the comments.**

I think almost all of us have a story.

That’s what inspired my newest Solae Grace song, **“Follow the Soul.”**

We spend so much time searching for answers outside ourselves.

We ask friends.
We Google.
We make lists.
We analyze every possibility.
And sometimes we talk ourselves right out of what we knew in the first place.

But underneath all that noise, there can be this quiet little knowing.

No proof.
No guarantees.
Just a whisper:

**This way.**

🎶 *You don't need to see
where the whole road goes…
Just take one step
and follow the soul.*

Maybe that's the hardest part of trusting ourselves.

We want to see the whole road.

Sometimes life only shows us **the next step.**

🎧 **“Follow the Soul” — Solae Grace**

Now I want to hear YOUR story:

👇 **When did you listen to your intuition—and when do you wish you had?**

I’ll be reading the comments. ❤️

⚠️ **A gentle note before you listen…**

My new Solae Grace song, **“Let’s Talk,”** addresses a sensitive and difficult subject: **su***de and suicidal thoughts.**

I wrote this song carefully and intentionally—not to dramatize su***de, but to open a conversation about what it means to truly **sit with someone who is hurting.**

Sometimes we become uncomfortable with another person's pain and reach too quickly for advice, reassurance, or the “right” thing to say.

Sometimes what a person needs first is much simpler:

**Stay.
Listen.
Don't judge.
Let them talk.**

“Let’s Talk” models the difficult questions we may be afraid to ask and reminds us that we don't have to fix another human being's pain to be present with them.

If this subject is emotionally difficult for you, please take care of yourself and decide whether this is the right time for you to listen.

And if you're struggling yourself, please don't carry that moment silently.

**Call or text 988 — the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.**

There is someone there to listen.

**You deserve to be heard.**

**SILENCE**

There is a certain kind of power that comes when you finally realize…

**You don’t have to respond.**

Not to every opinion.
Not to every accusation.
Not to every misunderstanding.
Not to every person determined to pull you into their chaos.

Sometimes silence isn’t weakness.

Sometimes silence is **discernment.**

It’s knowing your voice has value—and deciding that not everyone deserves access to it.

“Silence” has a little different Solae attitude: smoky jazz, soulful saxophone and trumpet, and that soft, sassy voice of a woman who no longer needs to prove a damn thing. ❤️🎷

**“What deserves my voice**
**gets the best of me.**
**And what doesn’t…**
**gets silence.”**

Maybe peace doesn’t always come from having the last word.

Maybe sometimes…

**peace IS the last word.** 🤫❤️

Some people get ease.
**Some of us find purpose.** ❤️

This song came from a truth I think many of us eventually discover:

**Pain was never the purpose.**

We weren't born to suffer. We didn't need to be broken to become worthy, wise, or strong.

But when you've walked through some darkness, you begin to see things differently.

You recognize the trembling behind someone else's smile.
You hear the words they're not saying.
You know when someone doesn't need advice—they just need someone willing to stay.

And maybe that's where purpose sometimes finds us.

Not in what hurt us…
but in what we choose to do with what we learned along the way.

🎶 **Some of Us Find Purpose — Solae Grace**

For everyone who has ever looked back over their life and wondered, *What was all of that for?*

Maybe we don't need an answer for every painful chapter.

Maybe we simply keep walking…

and **leave a light on for somebody coming behind us.** 🕯️❤️

**“Kindling Moments” by Solae Grace**

Not every new beginning arrives with a grand revelation.

Sometimes it begins as an **itch beneath the skin**.

A thought you keep returning to.
A book you suddenly reach for.
A conversation that stays with you.
A road you've never taken that somehow catches your attention.

A tiny spark of curiosity that whispers…

*Go a little closer.*

🔥 **“Kindling Moments”** is about learning to notice those subtle inner stirrings—the moments that awaken something in us before we even understand why.

We spend so much time waiting for certainty. For a sign. For the perfect moment.

But maybe **the inclination IS the sign.**

Maybe the smallest flicker deserves our attention.

Because sometimes an entirely new chapter of our lives begins with something we almost ignored.

🎷 Soulful. Reflective. Warm.
A little saxophone. A little soul. And a reminder to pay attention to what quietly lights you up.

🎶 **KINDLING MOMENTS — Solae Grace**

*Not every flame begins as fire.*

Sometimes it begins as a feeling.
