We will be:
- Touring a working ambulance! Thank you Bi-County Ambulance Service

- Making DIY First aid kits to take home

- Learning safe kitchen skills to make a healthy snack tray

- Enjoying safety vehicle themed sensory trays

Last week we had our garden picnic for our last sensory play group of the spring! We had so much fun planting flowers, exploring with ladybugs and playing with bubbles and sidewalk chalk! 🐞🌷🫧

Thank you to everyone who came and explored with us, and Sutter County Museum, Artisan Community Garden and Sutter County Superintendent of Schools SCIP Program for helping make it possible! 💕

You will not want to miss our May Mornings in the Garden event! This month we will be learning about pet safety with help from Worthy, a local facility dog.

We felt honored to support Sutter County Public Health's , supporting Maternal Mental Health

Thank you to Family Soup for joining us in recognizing Maternal Mental Health Month and standing in support of parents and families in our community.

On Thursday our teen group learned basic first aid skills and received a basic CPR demonstration. Each teen also put together a basic first aid kit and learned how to use all of the elements in it, during an emergency.

So many fun community events happening this weekend that we've been loving! We have a table at the Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way Resource Fair, joined in the TSC Alliance awareness walk in Yuba City, and got to take a sneak peak at Sutter County Museum and Sutter County Children & Families Commission's "Hello from Japan" exhibit!

If you are looking for something fun to do today, stop by any of these amazing activities!
