Getting back to lifting after a back injury is not just about waiting for pain to disappear 🏋️

Early rehab focuses on comfortable movement. As you improve, the goal shifts toward rebuilding strength, confidence, and your ability to handle more load.

Exercises like limited-range RDLs help you safely practise lifting patterns while gradually increasing what your body can tolerate.

Recovery is about building back stronger, not rushing the process.

If you’re ready to return to lifting, book an assessment and let’s create a plan that fits your goals.

There’s more to rehabilitation than one area of care. ❤️

Our team supports patients across physical, occupational, speech, and pediatric therapy, addressing movement, communication, cognition, daily activities, hand function, development, and independence.

Different specialties. One shared goal: helping you get back to the things that matter most.

If you’re wondering which rehabilitation service may be right for you or your loved one, we’re here to help.

📲 Book with Hi Desert Physical Rehabilitation Group and take the next step toward your rehabilitation goals.

Ever thought, “But my injury is healed… so why does my hand still feel weak?” 🤔

You’re not imagining it.

Getting through the healing stage is one part of recovery. Getting your hand comfortable and confident with everyday movements is another.

Swipe through for a closer look at why that happens and how hand therapy can help support the next stage of recovery.

Still unsure what your hand needs? Feel free to reach out to our team. 💬

Take back your independence. 👏

The little things matter.

Walking. Running. Working. Playing. Exercising. Travelling. Picking up your kids. Getting through your day without constantly thinking about what hurts.

Sometimes, getting your independence back starts with getting your movement back.

And that’s something worth celebrating. 🤍

Today we celebrate the physical therapists who help people move, recover, and keep doing the things they love. 💙

From building strength to supporting heart health and stroke recovery, movement plays an important role at every stage of life.

Happy World PT Day to the clinicians who make a difference one patient at a time. 🙌

Hands-on treatment can have its place, but PT is also about active recovery. That means building strength, improving mobility, practicing movement, and gradually preparing your body for the things you want to get back to.

So yes... your PT might make you work a little. 💪

Ever notice your balance feels a little different, but you can’t quite explain why? 👀

Balance isn’t just about your legs. It’s your eyes, inner ear, strength, coordination, and nervous system all working together.

Small changes like holding the railing more often or avoiding uneven ground can be signs your body is adapting.

The good news? Balance is a skill you can train. 💪

If you want to feel more confident with movement, a physiotherapy assessment can help identify where to start.

Why do occupational therapists make you play with putty?

It may look like play, but those squeezes, pinches, and pulls are working your hand strength, coordination, and control.

Small movements can make a big difference in the everyday tasks that matter. 💪

Some mornings, getting out the door feels harder than it should 🎒

Getting dressed, finding shoes, packing a bag, and remembering what comes next all require skills like coordination, motor planning, attention, and organization.

So when your child says, “I don’t want to!” it may not always be refusal. Sometimes, the routine just feels hard.

Pediatric OT can help break everyday tasks into manageable steps and build the skills children need for more independence and confidence 💛

Sometimes, understanding the challenge is the first step toward finding the right support.
