Well… we regret to inform you that today is NOT a burn day. We know. We know. After all those beautiful burn days in a row, we were starting to think we had turned a corner. We got excited. We made plans. We looked at our burn piles and whispered, “Soon.” And now here we are… back in the burn-day friend zone. 🥲 The burn pile is disappointed. The matches are unemployed. Well folks… it finally happened. 😭
Our glorious burn-day streak has officially come to an end. Today is NOT a burn day due to cloud coverage.

After several beautiful days of freedom, happiness, and burn piles finally getting the attention they’ve been demanding… we have been placed BACK IN TIME OUT. Apparently we got too comfortable. We started believing in ourselves. Some of you probably even thought, “Maybe the burn pile will finally be gone.” HAHA. NOPE. The weather said: “You’ve had enough fun.” Stay safe Yuma County!

TODAY IS A BURN DAY… AGAIN. 😳🔥
That’s right. MULTIPLE DAYS IN A ROW. At this point, we’re not calling it a burn day anymore… we’re calling it a miracle. The burn pile has gone from “Maybe someday…” to “WAIT… WE’RE ACTUALLY DOING THIS AGAIN TOMORROW?!” We’ve been denied so many times that some of you probably started naming your burn pile and holding family meetings with it. Today at approximately 11:40 a.m., Rural Metro Fire responded for report of a residential fire in the area of E 38th St ...

Today at approximately 11:40 a.m., Rural Metro Fire responded for report of a residential fire in the area of E 38th St and S Tucson Dr. Crews arrived on scene and found a motorhome 50% involved with exposures to the North and South. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and began extinguishing the fire. The fire was contained to the motorhome with some scorching to the North and South exposures. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
