Ginseng season starts tomorrow, September 1st.
If you are out tomorrow please obey the laws and regulations put in place. Respect the land and your neighbors. Only harvest mature plants and replant the ripe berries. Good luck!

We ARE selling stratified ginseng seed again this year. After prepaid customer orders have been filled, we should have around 15-20 pounds remaining. This will most likely be the last year we will have seed available.

6/25/25 UPDATE: We just can’t stay out of it! We have begun buying roots for 2026. Yellow root, blood root, black cohosh, Virginia snake root.

6/11/26 UPDATE:

We’ve had a thousand calls (literally) over the last couple weeks. We have heard a couple buyers have retired and a lot of guys are looking for new buyers.
Our plans for 2026 are currently UNDECIDED. We do know we’re taking the summer off, and COULD POTENTIALLY start buying ginseng and yellow root September 1st.
If we don’t buy, I can point all diggers to some other buyers in the state if needed.
