📍NEW MEETING & ACCOMMODATION LOCATION !

Starting from September 2026, Pai Adventure will move our guest meeting and accommodation point in Ha Giang City from 266 Nguyen Trai to 135 Nguyen Van Linh.

Just like before, guests joining a Pai tour can enjoy complimentary dorm accommodation and shower facilities when arriving the night before or early in the morning of departure. At the new location, you can also leave unnecessary luggage behind, grab breakfast or coffee, and get ready with the Pai team before hitting the road. If you prefer more privacy, private room upgrades are also available.

A more convenient place to rest, recharge and get ready before your Ha Giang adventure — and to come back to after the journey.

August is still rainy, with showers and thunderstorms between sunny spells. Rain can continue into early September, while conditions generally become more settled later in the month. Pai will never promise sunshine for an entire trip.

What matters is checking the exact route before each stage. When necessary, Pai may change the departure time or route, shorten a walking section or stop the journey if conditions are unsuitable.

“Hoang Su Phi does not turn golden overnight.

In late August, green still covers most terraces, while some higher fields may begin to change colour. September is the main golden-rice season in Hoang Su Phi and Xin Man. By October, western Ha Giang is moving into the end of the season.

Early September may still bring rain, so Pai checks remote roads close to departure and adjusts the route when needed.

Not necessarily. August is still within the rainy season, with showers and thunderstorms between sunny breaks. On mountain roads, conditions can change quickly from one area to another.

After rain, the valleys turn greener, clouds sit lower and streams carry more water. But visibility, road surfaces and remote sections can also change.

Pai checks short-term forecasts and road conditions before each leg. If conditions are unsuitable, we may leave later, reroute or skip a stop — we do not force the itinerary.

Bring a compact raincoat, shoes with good grip, a waterproof bag and one dry layer.
