Trauma doesn’t only live in thoughts or memories.
It lives in tissue, chakras, and the subtle body.
That’s why understanding what happened doesn’t always change how you feel.
The body has to be shown — gently — that the danger has passed.
Healing isn’t about thinking harder.
It’s about allowing stored energy to move again.
And often, what’s stuck isn’t just what happened —
it’s what never happened.
What the body needed but didn’t receive.
Safety.
Touch.
Reassurance.
Being seen.
Being protected.
The body remembers absence just as strongly as impact.
To heal, we don’t force energy out.
We give the system what it was missing.
Presence where there was neglect.
Warmth where there was distance.
Containment where there was overwhelm.
When the body finally receives what it needed back then — even now — it no longer has to hold on so tightly.
That’s when energy begins to move.
Not because it’s pushed, but because it’s complete.
And completion is what allows release.
