Unresolved emotional stress does not only affect how we feel internally.
It can also quietly affect relationships.
Did you know, that sometimes it appears as:
* emotional reactivity
* fear of rejection
* difficulty trusting
* shutting down emotionally
* people pleasing
* overthinking conversations
* difficulty feeling emotionally safe with others
Many of these patterns are not conscious choices.
Often they are protective responses the nervous system learned over time.
When we begin approaching emotional awareness with curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to gently understand ourselves, rather than through shame, judgement, or self-blame, relationships can gradually begin to feel safer, calmer, and more connected.
Many people are surprised how deeply emotional stress can affect relationships.
Did any part of this resonate with your experience?
