Mother’s Day used to make me want to disappear.

When my son was in active addiction, I hated this day. Denny and I would go hiking just to get me out of the house because I couldn’t handle scrolling through everyone’s perfect family pictures and comparing my life to theirs.

Then I’d go to work on Tuesday and hear all about everyone’s beautiful Mother’s Day while secretly trying not to cry because mine felt heavy and heartbreaking.

For a long time, I thought I couldn’t enjoy anything while my son was struggling. Like if I laughed, rested, or had a good day, it somehow meant I didn’t care enough. The guilt was brutal.

But eventually I realized something that changed me. I could love my son deeply and still allow myself to notice the good things that were still right in front of me.

So I stopped waiting for life to become perfect before allowing myself to live it. I started paying attention to the little things that were still beautiful. A quiet hike. A good cup of coffee. My husband making me laugh. The sound of birds in the woods. Tiny moments of peace in the middle of chaos.

That doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt. It did. But I learned that if I didn’t intentionally look for moments of joy, addiction would steal every single piece of me too.

If today is hard, please remember this. You are still allowed to have a good day. Loving someone in addiction does not mean you have to drown beside them. Go outside. Laugh if something is funny. Eat the good meal. Take the hike. Buy the flowers. Addiction already takes enough. Don’t let it take every piece of you too.

You don’t need another self care day where you get a coffee, buy another candle, take a bath, and pretend you’re relaxed...

This is a 75–90 minute, in-person session.

We start by pulling up your chart and getting straight into it. I’m not giving you a personality reading… I’m showing you how you handle stress, what actually triggers you, and why you react the way you do when you’re overwhelmed, irritated, or stuck in your head. You’re going to hear things that make you go “okay yeah… that’s exactly what I do.”

Then you get on the table. You’re fully clothed, blanket on, lights low. You don’t have to talk or do anything. This is where your body finally gets a break.

I’ll be using Reiki, crystals placed on and around your body, and a custom aromatherapy blend to match what’s coming up for you. Nothing random, everything is chosen based on your chart and what you’re dealing with that day.

Then I bring in the sound.

Different tones and instruments layered in a way that helps your body slow down, your mind quiet, and that constant tension you’ve been carrying start to release. Some people drift off, some people just feel their whole body soften, sometimes emotions come up that you didn’t even realize were sitting there.

After the session, we talk through what came up and I give you your personalized Peace Plan.

✨I’m Chanda, and if you come into my world thinking I’m just gonna light a candle, tell you to breathe, and send you on your way… you’re gonna be real surprised.

I’m the one people come to when they’re snapping at everyone for no reason, laying in bed exhausted but can’t shut their brain off, and wondering how the hell they ended up living a life that looks fine on the outside but feels heavy as s**t on the inside.

I do Reiki, sound healing, oils, crystals… yeah, all of it. But not in the floaty, “love and light fixes everything” way. The older I get, the more I believe peace has a little rebellion in it. Not loud or reckless but the kind that refuses to keep living the way stress taught you how to live.

✨Respond, don’t react.
Not every thought deserves action and not every trigger deserves your energy.

✨Peace is protection.
Protecting your calm is not selfish. It is wisdom.

✨Boundaries are self respect.
Every time you honor a limit, you teach yourself and others that you matter too.

✨Overthinking is not intuition.
Fear is loud. Inner knowing is usually much quieter.

✨Joy is not irresponsible.
Choosing what makes you feel alive is not throwing away responsibility. It is participating in life.

✨Living on purpose is rebellion.
In a world addicted to hurry, noise, and autopilot, choosing presence and peace is radical.
