I often find myself reflecting and exploring different theories, approaches, and pieces of advice. It is difficult to offer one universal way that would apply equally to everyone. In truth, that is impossible, because every human being is a world of their own.
What works for one person does not necessarily work for another. Each of us comes into life to experience different things. Through these experiences we grow, evolve, begin to see differently, feel differently, and respond differently.
Everyone carries their own vision of what life should look like — what a partner should be like, what a relationship should be like, what children should be like, what work should be like, and how life itself should unfold.
Very often we imagine ideal relationships, ideal partnerships, ideal work environments, ideal children, and a life that should be harmonious and pleasant. In a way, this may be our original blueprint — something universal within all of us. Yet we often forget that in order to truly live this harmony, we must first remove the obstacles and create the inner conditions for it.
Over time, we become separated from ourselves and lose contact with our own truth and authentic existence.
When life does not unfold according to our expectations — when things do not align with the image we created — we begin, often unconsciously, to place pressure on the people around us so that they would help us realize what we want. We do this because we naturally gravitate toward what feels important to us.
What we often forget, however, is that what we want is not necessarily aligned with the path or experience of another person.
Sooner or later, conflict arises. First within us, and then outside of us — because when our expectations are not met, we begin to push against others.
Understanding that every person has come into this world for their own experience, and that no one owes us anything, is part of a deeper realization. Nothing belongs to us beyond what we truly receive.
Life always brings us exactly the experiences that correspond to our inner state and the energy we radiate outward.
Perhaps we should learn to be grateful for what we have, rather than focusing on what we lack or what we wish were different.
It is beautiful to create conditions for happiness, love, and fulfillment in our lives. But the truth is that we must first offer all of this to ourselves.
This is my reflection.
